Natalia Demina analyzed for Finversia the situation with blocked Russian’s assets in Europe

Natalia Demina, Partner, Head of Private Wealth practice at Maxima Legal, spoke on the problem of blocking of Russian private investors’ securities by EuroClear and assessed the possible ways of rescuing these assets, especially for the financial portal Finversia.

“There are a number of administrative and judicial options. In all options the problem of implementation is that it is quite difficult to assess the prospects of consideration due to the fact that such a situation has never existed before in the practice of both the General Court of the European Union and state courts and EU authorities (in particular, Belgium),” Natalia Demina stressed.
