Lawyers from Maxima Legal took part in the second Russian-Chinese Economic forum, ‘Eastern perspective of the Russian economy’, organised by the Higher School for Economics in St Petersburg.

The forum has become a platform for specialists from Chinese business, directors and top-managers of Russian and international companies as well as representatives from government departments, who are interested in developing trade between Russia and China. The event included roundtable events on various topics, discussions on business development and memorandums and cooperation agreements were also signed.

Natalia Diatlova, Partner and Head of International Projects and PPP at Maxima Legal, and Associate from the PPP department, Margarita Dukhova, gave a presentation as part of the session on the topic of city investment projects. The lawyers talked about the unique features of investing in St Petersburg as well as the mechanisms and government measures to support business.
