Maxima Legal announces that Natalia Diatlova has joined the firm as a partner

Maxima Legal  has appointed a new partner in the firm, Natalia Diatlova, who is an expert in the fields of public-private partnership, real estate, corporate and commercial law and M&A transactions.

Natalia has extensive experience having worked in international law firms for more than 15 years.  Natalia was previously Counsel and Co-head of the Real Estate Practice at Salans in St Petersburg and led the Tax and Legal department at international auditing company KPMG in St Petersburg.

Natalia has a strong reputation as an experienced and knowledgeable practitioner in the areas of real estate and construction as well as in assisting with international projects.

Natalia has assisted with large-scale international investments in various commercial and civil legal projects, real estate, investment agreements, projects in the construction and redevelopment of industrial premises for manufacturing, shopping and business centres, warehouses, and also for the creation of joint ventures.

Natalia played a significant role in the creation of the first PPP project in Russia for the construction of the toll road Zapadny Skorostnoy Diameter in St Petersburg.

Natalia wrote her thesis on the topic of PPP and has authored a number of articles in Russian and English on issues of investment, real estate and infrastructure. Natalia regularly takes part in international investment conferences such as Adam Smith, EXPO REAL and MIPIM.

Natalia graduated from the Law Faculty of the St Petersburg State University with honours and speaks English fluently.  Natalia’s hobbies include tennis, winter sports and painting.
