On April 15 Maxima Legal and international consulting company JLL held a joint discussion about how COVID-19 pandemic has influenced on business environment, including the large-scale development of remote working format.

Thus, JLL representatives spoke about trends that will shape commercial real estate market in 2021 and transformation of workspaces in offices, while Maxim Ali, Partner and Head of intellectual property and information law practice at Maxima Legal, explained legal nuances of remote communication.

Maksim outlined the legal issues surrounding the discussion of labor or commercial issues via messengers, and peculiarities of implementing electronic document management systems in a company. In addition, the expert shared the rules for all correspondence, which will help protect the interests of businesses in conflicts, including in the context of litigation.
