Maxima Legal and the British Russian Law Association invite businesses and international companies to participate in a legal event, “The role of English Law in Russia in 2018 and beyond”.

Date: Thursday, 17 May 2018

Time: 17.00 – 20.00

Venue: Four Seasons Hotel, 1 Voznesensky prospekt

English law has often been the jurisdiction of choice for international business, including in the CIS. In light of recent challenges, at the event the speakers will discuss what changes are taking place that may impact on the role of English law in Russia and what recent legal developments in the UK may be particularly relevant to Russians and Russian business.

The event coincides with the International Legal Forum and will be attended by English lawyers and include presentations from Maxima Legal, Lidings, Corker Binning, Withers LLP and Enyo Law on current developments in English law and provide an assessment on what the future for English law in Russia may be.

The event will be held in English.
