On November 8, the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LRCCI) held a business seminar DOING BUSINESS WITH CHINA dedicated to the specifics of working with Chinese partners.

The experts discussed the issues of trade and economic cooperation between China and Russia, topical problems of logistics, peculiarities of customs and tariff regulation, issues related to currency operations and a number of others.

Natalia Diatlova, Partner, Head of Corporate practice and International Desk at Maxima Legal outlined the main legal risks and peculiarities of starting and doing business in China under the sanctions regime.

The event was attended by the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in China, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the Representative Office of the CCI of the Russian Federation in the PRC (Shanghai), the St. Petersburg Chinese Cultural Centre, the Russian-Chinese Business Council, the North-West Customs Administration, as well as representatives of trading companies, importers, participants in FEA, financial and insurance companies.
