The Central Research and Development Institute Elektron, a developer of photoelectronic devices, may change its controlling shareholder. Rosimushchestvo’s 63.9% stake in the company was put up for sale for RUB 947 million. The owner of the remaining 36.1%, Holding “Roselektronika” of state corporation “Rosteс” is interested in consolidation of 100% of “Electron” shares and is preparing the corresponding appeal to the state. In this case, the shares of “Electron” owning the building complex on 68, Toreza Prospekt, with a total area of over 27 thousand square meters may be of interest not only to core investors, but also to residential or commercial real estate developers.

However Konstantin Boytsov, Head of Real Estate and Construction Practice at Maxima Legal explained to “Kommersant” newspaper that “if the land plot is owned by the company, its construction will require approval of all shareholders of the company. Thus, the plans of the main owner to develop the land plot may be hampered in the long term by corporate litigation”.
