Sergei Bakeshin has commented to Peterburg Dnyevnik of possible restrictions on catering services in residential buildings

The State Duma is considering a draft law that would impact on bars, restaurants and cafes, which are located in and nearby to residential buildings.

According to Maxima Legal’s Senior Associate, Sergei Bakeshin, the most dangerous thing in the new bill is the possibility to restrict bars following a decision of a general meeting of owners of a building. “It is possible that the final decision on whether to allow the trade of alcohol will be made by the residents of the house, and potentially after the opening of a bar or restaurant”, Sergei explained.
