Waiver of moratorium on bankruptcy proceedings is a procedure designed to address a number of corporate objectives, such as distribution of company profits (payment of dividends), acquisition or redemption of own shares, and allocation of a share (unit) or payment of its actual value. However, there are some risks associated with its application: the person who has declared a waiver of the moratorium and his creditors are not subject to the restrictions of rights and obligations associated with the moratorium,” Sergei explained.
