Maxim Ali, Head of IP/IT practice at Maxima Legal practice became an expert of the online seminar “Why and how does business need to protect intellectual property?” organized by St Petersburg Unified Entrepreneurship Center on September 22.

The said who and why should protect intellectual property, how to build a strategy, how to protect the brand and valuable technologies, and when to build a patent.

Maxim noted advantages entrepreneurs get when working with intellectual property and what risks are avoided. The expert analyzed the objects of intellectual property on the example of products in different industries and also explained the features of copyright and patent protection abroad.
