Maxima Legal has been included in a national ranking of litigators

Pravo.ru has included Maxima Legal in its list of Russian litigators. The firm took 19th place on the basis of its success, 20th place for the number of cases in arbitration and 23rd place for the total value of claims.

“This is the first year that Maxima Legal has taken part in the Russian-wide rating of litigators. In all likelihood this is the most competitive area of legal practice. Nevertheless, for each part of the criteria our firm was ranked in the top half of the table and among the top 20 to 25 law firms in Russia. We will work to build on this”, commented the Head of the Dispute Resolution practice at Maxima Legal, Sergei Bakeshin.

In total 53 law firms took part in the study with details of 2,551 arbitration cases being submitted for 2017. As part of the research for the rating, Pravo.ru analysts took into account the final decisions at all instances, the firm’s participation only as a claimant or a defendant, although no claims for recovery of costs and insolvencies/bankruptcies were taken into account.
