Maxima Legal announces Maxim Ali`s appointment as a partner

Maxima Legal announces that Head of IP/IT Practice Maxim Ali has become a new firm`s partner. In his new role, Maxim will continue to work on the development the practice, which has turned into one of the company’s fastest-growing areas in last few years.

Maxim Ali’s professional experience exceeds more than 10 years, during which he has earned a reputation as an expert in intellectual property and information law, as well as in e-commerce and media relations. Maxim is also noted for his extensive experience in defending copyright and patent rights, including before the Intellectual Property Court and the Chamber of Patent Disputes. In a recent litigation, Maxim not only has successfully defended his client’s interests, but also has developed a new position for Russian court practice on the inadmissibility of retroactive disposition of exclusive rights, which was upheld by the Intellectual Property Court .

During the years of his practice Maxim Ali has cooperated with Russian, foreign and international companies, including those involved in IT, medical, metallurgical and automotive industries, real estate and entertainment.
