Dmitry Uryakin has commented to the Kommersant on a dispute about a candidate for Intertorg`s bankruptcy manager
The Commercial Court of St Petersburg and Leningrad Region reconfirmed Sergei Bezrukikh as a Intertorg`s bankruptcy manager. Previously a number of creditors (including affiliated with Sberbank company) had insisted on the affiliation between the bankruptcy manager, a creditor who proposed Mr Bezrukikh and the debtor.
Dmitry Uryakin, associate at Maxima Legal, pointed out to the Kommersant newspaper that in the new trial the court ignored that Sergei Bezrukikh could not be appointed the bankruptcy manager as the court of cassation had mentioned. Therefore, according to the expert, the participants of the case have good chances to appeal the ruling. The creditors may also point to the subjective interest of Mr. Bezrukikh in relation to the debtor or a particular creditor, as well as to the passiveness of the bankruptcy manager, said Dmitry.
