Maxim Ali, Partner and Head of Intellectual Property and Information Law practice at Maxima Legal, has shared an observation on the transformation of the legal services market with the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI)

“The intellectual property market continues to evolve. We see this well in interviews. Questions which were “tricky” 6 years ago, are now quite simple, even for entry-level specialists. On the one hand, this is a pleasant trend. I think it has something to do with the interest in IP/IT, as well as the wide variety of training materials. On the other hand, this trend shows that IP/IT field is not going to actively grow indefinitely. The competition in this environment is increasing rapidly,” said the expert.

Maxim also added that the crisis trends, caused by the pandemic, have not gone away, so law firms should be prepared for difficulties and increased competition for customers.
