Russian court system get high marks due to the accessibility and comprehensiveness of the online File of Commercial coutrs cases as well as the technical equipment of most courtrooms and the ability to hold court hearings in an online format.

“Previously, it was necessary to use spesial video-conference rooms (in the court where the court proceeding takes place and in the local court) to hold a remote court session. Now, however, the online session can be accessed from a personal computer. The rooms were often busy, causing courts to refuse to hear a case in this format. In addition, the innovations have simplified access to courts in different parts of Russia. Now there is no need to look for lawyers in another region or pay for a business trip. This allowed lawyers themselves to make their services more economical and accessible to clients,” Maxim Ali, partner at Maxima Legal, has commented for Russian Legal Information Agency.
