Maxima Legal is now cooperating with more than 10 regions in developing the PPP sector

As part of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Maxima Legal and the Republic of Mordovia entered into a cooperation agreement on developing PPP regulations, in light of international standards and leading national and international practices as well as federal legislation in the region.

The region became the eleventh part of the Federation to choose Maxima Legal as a legal adviser on PPP matters and on implementing large-scale infrastructure projects. Maxima Legal is already working to improve legislation and to prepare and implement PPP projects in infrastructure in St Petersburg, Krasnodar, the Leningrad, Murmansk, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Tula and Yaroslavl regions as well as in Republics of Bashkortostan and Udmurtia.

“Public-Private Partnership is one of the more popular mechanisms to attract funds from outside of government budgets to help implement large infrastructure projects. Our team has advised on a variety of federal and regional laws in the PPP sector, as well as assisting with significant projects in the transport, railway, education and utilities industries across all of Russia. I am pleased that our experienced has become not only a source of pride for Maxima Legal but also helps regions utilise national and foreign investments to modernise and develop infrastructure, and at the same time avoiding hidden traps, reducing risks and the time its takes to prepare the projects”, commented the Head of the PPP Practice at Maxima Legal, Natalia Diatlova.
