Maxima Legal is preparing for growth

Vladimir Kilinkarov - PhD

Maxima Legal has introduced a system of KPI (Key Performance Indicators).

As part of the firm’s plan for its long-term development, over 2016 the firm consulted with leading HR-consultants regarding the development of a system of KPI for different categories of staff. The firm carefully studied and considered best international practice from the implementation of KPI systems, as a result of which the terms that are key to the company’s continued development were chosen. Emphasis has been placed on the development of the firm’s client base, increasing revenue and raising the effectiveness of employees’ work.

The introduced system covers all categories of personnel, both lawyers and administrative staff. The new system enables the firm to evaluate and plan the development of the company as a whole, for each practice area and for each individual employee. The system also provides for career progression and financial rewards for employees who hit targets.

“We are very pleased that we have taken such an important step for the company. One of the main benefits of this system, from our point of view, is the opportunity to place all the firm’s work under constant development. By achieving our aims, we can formulate and set new aims. We hope that all our employees will view the system as an opportunity for their personal and professional growth. We also encourage continual discussions between the management and employees of the firm about the system. We understand that our aims can only be achieved through work as a team” comments Vladimir Kilinkarov, Partner at Maxima Legal and head of the KPI project.
