Maxima Legal’s International Desk has given a presentation to USA students about the Russian legal system

Natalia Diatlova - Partner

Natalia Diatlova, Partner and Head of the International Desk at Maxima Legal, has given a presentation on Russian law to professors and students of the University of Arkansas’ School of Law, who were visiting St Petersburg. The presentation provoked a lively discussion on issues around latest amendments to Russian legislation and their comparison with the current US legal norms.

At the end of the meeting, the Maxima Legal team presented the university with several copies of the Doing Business in Russia legal handbook in English, which describes in detail the Russian regulation of various aspects of business.

“Maxima Legal`s hospitality and expertise is such a gift to our faculty and students”, said Margaret McCabe, Dean and Professor of Law at University of Arkansas School of Law.
