The XVI St Petersburg Medical Forum took place in St Petersburg from 24 to 26 May. Representatives of Russia’s largest medical organisations and relevant authorities discussed topical issues ranging from development scenarios for Russian healthcare and the medical services market under sanctions to the digitalisation of healthcare.

Natalia Diatlova, Partner, Head of Corporate Law Practice and International Desk at Maxima Legal, spoke about legal aspects of working through China and the CIS countries in the current environment. In particular, the expert analysed the specifics of business relocation to China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia, and outlined what tax and currency residents of the Russian Federation should consider when transferring assets abroad.
