On 26 January 2024, Delovoy Peterburg newspaper gathered representatives of St Petersburg’s legal business to discuss the results of the past year and the challenges of the coming year. The discussion also touched upon the issue of staff shortage, which has remained one of the pressing problems over the past few years.

“In June last year we faced an increase in requests and projects. And a sharp increase in staffing was required. We were faced with the fact that we couldn’t find people. Applicants for junior staff positions lack important competences,” said Nikita Deynega, Partner, Head of Tax & Administrative Law Practice at Maxima Legal.
