On 26 January 2018 in Smolny took place a meeting titled ‘Current issues for changing the business environment in St Petersburg in the construction sector’ which was chaired by the Deputy Governor of St Petersburg, Mr Govorunov.

As part of the event, participants discussed reforms that took place in 2017, their effect on the business climate, as well as difficulties that entrepreneurs and investors in the city encounter when pursuing projects and ways for these to be resolved.

Natalia Diatlova, Partner at Maxima Legal, and Konstantin Boytsov, Senior Associate and Head of the Property and Construction department, provided their thoughts on improving the procedures for planning permission and connecting to the electricity network in St Petersburg.
