Natalia Diatlova, Partner at Maxima Legal, has taken part in a joint working meeting with the Department of Federation Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography in St. Petersburg (Rosreestr) and the Governor of St Petersburg’s Administration.

The meeting took place on 19 February and covered cooperation between the government departments and business. In particular the participants discussed the main reforms that took place with Rosreestr over the past year and their impact on the business climate. On 1 January 2017 a law took effect which provides for a Unified State Register of Property and a unified registration procedure – Federal law N 217-FZ dated 13 July 2015 ‘On state registration of property’.

In addition, as part of the event, key challenges that entrepreneurs and investors in St Petersburg encounter when using government services provided by Rosreestr were discussed.
