Partner at Maxima Legal, Natalia Diatlova took part in a business brunch titled ‘St Petersburg: a place of opportunities for developers’.

Organised by business publication Kommersant, the event brings together representatives from the city’s committees and leading individuals from construction companies to discuss topical questions affecting the market.

On 17 August the panel discussion was dedicated to the new issues impacting on the development of the property market, in particular the changes to legislation in the construction sector and the toughening of requirements for companies when attracting funds from investors.

“The amendments to the law on companies operating in construction has become one of the more notable decisions of recent years. The changes significantly change the rules of the game, which is why it is particularly important to discuss them with representatives from government departments and the larger players in the market, such as MFK Lakhta Tsentr, KVC and others”, commented Natalia Diatlova.
