PPP in Private Healthcare: Features and Prospects of Government-Business Cooperation // Director of a Нospital – April 2018

Director of a Нospital an online industry magazine, has published a column by Margarita Dukhova, an associate from Maxima Legal’s PPP practice, about the specifics and prospects of PPPs in healthcare.

As part of the article, Margarita assessed the degree of attractiveness of the medical business for the implementation of public-private partnership mechanisms and existing options for interaction between the investor and the state. In addition, the expert stressed that although PPPs in healthcare often mean the provision of services by private clinics within the framework of compulsory medical insurance and PMI, this is not entirely correct. “An example of public-private partnership, as established by the legislator, will be the construction of a polyclinic, hospital or medical center under a separate agreement, providing for the procedure of financing, construction, as well as achieving the return on investment,” – said Margarita.
